Idaho Truss & Component Co. - the InteFrame partner for building components and framing materials.

What Idaho Truss brings to the table for InteFrame customers is superior design and manufacture of pre-fabricated building components (roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panel systems and more) for wood-framed buildings.  Pre-fabricated component framing enables more framing to get done faster by smaller crews.  It is particularly valuable on fast-track jobs, design-build jobs, projects with tight space constraints at the job site - basically any project where conditions limit the supply of skilled labor, time or space.

A significant part of the benefit of component framing to contractors is that the process of final design and layout of the floor, walls and roof takes place well ahead of the start of the framing.
This means that questions are asked and answered at a time when unexpected effects can still be mitigated, and not when a crew of expensive framers is standing around waiting for the answer.  For InteFrame customers, this process (we call it the RFI - "request for information" process) is pulled even further forward in the design stage - and much if not all the questions and answers take place as part of the actual design of the building, which accelerates the construction process even further.

Idaho Truss has also developed the ability, through its partnerships with Performance Engineers and Reality Building Design, to produce superior quality shop drawings, which make the approval process that much more efficient, and also increase the productivity of the framing crew.

Component framing also takes variability out of the project.  The number of highly unpredictable field framing variables is significantly reduced when the layouts are done on a computer, and the manufacture of the components is done in a factory with precision equipment.  Jobsite waste of materials is also greatly reduced or eliminated with the components are pre-fabricated.

Idaho Truss  has been successfully executing component framing projects for over 35 years, and in the last five years, has grown into the premier manufacturer of pre-fabricated wall systems for wood framed buildings.  We can help you get your job done faster with exceptional quality.
